Boats ready to go Most of the time, our weather was very good. Here, the boats sit waiting for their day's work to begin. There are only two fishermen and a guide per boat. We got lots of attention.
Heading Out with Our Guide - Willie This is Willie, our guide. He did it all.... got us to the fish, recommended baits, fixed lunch, you name it.
Fish Aren't Far Away This net got plenty of use.
Bob, The Fisherman Now, once again. This is Bob, the fisherman.

I got more fish.
David, The Photographer And this is David, the photographer.

He got more pictures.
First Walleyes - Lunch! But we both got all the Walleye we could eat every day for lunch.
GPS Reception is Great If you're into high tech gadgets, your GPS will work just fine on Bolton Lake. After all, there isn't anything to interfere with it. It was pretty common for it to track 5 to 7 satellites at a time.

Willie didn't need it. This was another one of David's toys.
Average Walleye on a 4 Inch Spoon Even the smaller Walleyes have big ambitions. This one hit a 4 inch spoon for all it was worth.
Even Smaller Pike are a Lot of Fun Of course the Northern Pikes are my favorites. They'll fight all the way to the boat.
Up for a Picture, Then Back Into the Lake This one is finally worn out. But we put him back - like all the others - and hope to see him another day.
Closeup of the Business End of a Pike Just for reference, this is why you should keep your fingers out of a Pike's mouth.
Trophy Whitefish - 22 Inches This is a 22 inch Whitefish. There aren't many in Bolton Lake - almost all Pike and Walleye.
