I've done my fair share of fishing over the years, but have always dreamed of a fly-in trip like this one!

On August 19, 1999, my son David and I set out for our long awaited fishing trip to Manitoba. That first day was really just the business of getting from Fort Wayne to Winnipeg. Our real trip started the next morning when the Bolton van picked us up from the hotel at 5:30 a.m. for the two hour flight North.

It had been a lot of years since our last father-son fishing trip and we were really looking forward to this one. David and I had a deal; I'd bring all the fishing tackle and he'd bring the cameras - all digital of course. It turned out to be a great way for both of us to do what we really enjoy. So now we'd like to put a few of those photos to good use..... if you think it looks like fun in the pictures, you should try it yourself!
